Working with Halls construction group, JLW solutions sow the final seeds at the Mainshill opencast coal site putting closure to several years of restoration works. This is all under the control and direction of MRL (Mines Restoration Limited) as subsidiary division of the Scottish Mines Restoration Trust charitable organisation who’s interests are to return seven Scottish coal sites to the best restoration option with funding available.
The future at Mainshill is going to be in the hands of the Forestry Commission with a planting program due to start in 2021.
