JLW solutions assist Scottish power and Brown and Mason, providing them with our long reach Volvo ec140 for a trial. This operation was to investigate a feasible solution to terminate the river connection into the power station as part of the decommissioning project.
Our Volvo ec140 is ideal as the bridge structure has a weight restriction making process and equipment selection difficult.
The trial brought to light the large volume of silt build up in the discharge chamber deposited by the river in the two year period of the station shut down.
