JLW team travel to the ever impressive Glensanda super quarry of the west coast near Oban, ( you may have seen an insight in to the place on Niel Oliver’s BBC Coast series).
Tasked with the repeat work of derigging another of Deldens crawler crane units, which has been working on the massive project at the quarry installing a new primary crushing plant miles up in the clouds.
Over several days we track crane from the top of the quarry to the dock, derig and pack on the quarry’s own ferry, sail to the mainland, where we then load on to the heavy haulage road transport off to next job just out side London.
