Thanks to the efforts from Drew at Mcnae’s for putting my team at Clydebank Port Services at the controls of their demonstration machine.
My team express much admiration for this Agri spec telehandler. With better driver comfort and usability. Strange getting used to the hydrostatic transmission from our usual machine but particularly responsive.
On my quick walk round I see many well thought out features like the high level latch for the pickup hitch negating the common problem of broken latch cable and jammed with muck when you get in deep.
Prominent high level chassis lift and tie down points. This will help reduce damage to panels and auxiliaries when crane lifting as well as securing when transporting this machine.
I recognise the bank of second services and electrical connectors borrowed for the bobcat skidsteer stable. In a well protected position at the main business end of this machine.
A nimble sprightly machine and I’m told the larger capacity model has the same footprint with more go. which I think with the correct attachment that suits our materials we will have further respect.
Visibility is very good, with the low rear boom pivot position as well as the one piece radius windscreen, all making access and egress to our silo loading hopper an easier task.
