Amazon’s new lorry park

In preparation for the Christmas rush and logistical nightmare of getting every parcel delivered on time, the retail giant Amazon proactively create a new lorry park to accommodate the increased hgv traffic in the area.

In sight of the new forth crossing also easily accessible from the M90, the Muir site at the old MOD tank farm formally part of Rosyth royal dockyard. This site is ideally suited and was recently vacated by FCBC after the completion of the new forth bridge.

In a very short space of time Amazon have installed showers, toilet and driver welfare cabins, as well as implemented traffic management barrier system and white line marking.

JLW solutions are on site tasked with security fence repairs making the site secure ahead of the cctv system install.
